Frequently Asked Questions
Got questions? I’ve got answers. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, reach out directly.
How long does a typical website take to build?
A standard 5-10 page website takes 2-4 weeks from kickoff to launch. Complex ecommerce sites or custom functionality can take 4-8 weeks. I’ll give you a specific timeline during our initial consultation.
What happens if I don’t like the design?
Design is iterative. I include multiple revision rounds in every project. We work together until you’re happy with the direction. My goal is a site you are proud to show your customers.
Do you write the content, or do I need to provide it?
I can work either way. If you have existing content, I’ll structure and optimize it for the web. If you need copywriting, I offer content writing as an add-on service or can recommend copywriters I’ve worked with.
What happens after the website launches?
Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support for bug fixes and minor tweaks. After that, I offer affordable maintenance plans starting at $200/month that include updates, backups, security monitoring, and priority support.
Can you work with my existing WordPress site?
Yes. I can redesign, restructure, or add functionality to your existing WordPress site. I’ll audit your current setup and recommend the best approach — whether that’s a refresh, a rebuild, or targeted improvements.
Do you offer a free test project?
Yes. My “Try Me Out” package gives you up to 2 hours of dedicated work on a small task — a homepage mockup, a landing page, or a technical fix — with no obligation. It’s the best way to see if we’re a good fit.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept bank transfer (e-Transfer for Canadian clients), credit card via Stripe, and PayPal. For larger projects, I typically work with a 50% deposit and 50% on completion.
