Ways to work together

The right digital solution starts with the real problem.

About the Diagnostic

Process

How it works

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Start with the problem

Share who the work is for, what needs to improve and what you use today. A rough idea or current example is enough to start.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Agree on the first release

Define what is included, what can wait, responsibilities and review points. Then agree on a written scope and quote.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Design, build and review

Review the important screens and workflows with representative content or data. Discuss changes before they alter the agreed work.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Launch and hand off

Check the main user paths, confirm account access and handoff, and agree who will handle updates and ongoing support.

FAQ

Common questions

How are website, app and automation projects priced?

Every project is quoted to scope. That includes quick fixes, updates and one-off tasks as well as full websites, apps and automations. You receive a written scope and quote before work begins.

How long does a website take?

Most website projects take 3–6 weeks, depending on scope, content readiness and feedback. We agree on a schedule before work starts.

Can you design and build a custom app or dashboard?

Yes. I work on web app interfaces, client portals, dashboards and internal tools. We start with the people using it and the job they need to do, then scope a useful first release.

What can AI automation help with?

Potential uses include processing documents, searching approved knowledge, preparing drafts and moving information between tools. We check the data, permissions, output quality and human review needed before deciding what to automate.

Do I need a custom app, or could an existing tool work?

We compare the task, existing software, integrations and ongoing costs before deciding what to build. A simpler setup or a well-chosen existing tool may be enough. Custom development makes sense when an important need is not covered well.

What happens after launch?

Before launch, we agree on handoff, account access, documentation and who will manage hosting, updates and support. Third-party subscriptions and ongoing work are discussed separately so you can understand the cost and responsibilities beyond the build.

Do you work outside Toronto?

Yes. I am based in Toronto and work remotely with clients across Canada and the US.

Can you fix my existing site?

Yes. I can review an existing website, identify problems and scope improvements. Start with a free 5-point site check.
